EFT - Emotional Freedom Technique

“Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is a simple, powerful process that can profoundly influence gene activity, health and behaviour” Bruce Lipton, PHD and author of Biology of Belief

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), aka “tapping” is a cutting edge stress-relief method, based on the body-mind connection. It represents a very effective holistic approach to emotional and physical healing, well-being, and performance.

EFT combines a light tapping on end points of the body’s energy pathways (known as meridians) which are akin to those used in acupuncture, with simultaneous recollection of a stressful stimulus (emotion or sensation).  By clearing the energy blocks, we are sending electromagnetic messages to a part of the brain that governs thoughts, feeling and emotions.  This allows us to clear unhelpful negative emotions, beliefs and pain.  The result is a rapid relaxation, and disappearance of the stress response to the stimuli.

EFT is very easy to learn on a basic level, and the results are often felt instantly. More complex and long standing issues usually require a series of sessions with a qualified practitioner, as well as daily tapping by the client, in order to make a permanent shift.
